We set up The Ed Kent Trust in February 2017 in memory of Edward Kent, our son and brother. The object of the trust is to raise funds in order to provide grant aid to both individuals and to organisations, supporting youth cricket and other sports in Dorset and also to support young percussionists and other musicians in the county. We started awarding grants in 2018 and by May 2023 had made awards to forty-eight young people, totaling over £34,000 and ranging between £96 and £1,000 per grant.

We raise funds in various ways, normally through events but also through direct donations. Please contact us if you have an idea for fundraising.
